Description
This role is for a Functional Analyst to work as part of a scrum team based across London, St Petersbug and Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be based in Frankfurt and will be responsible for all aspects of functional analysis for the team - breaking down business requirements into functional requirements and aligning them to low-level technical specifications. The FA will play a key role in planning and providing requirements to the developers. The role requires close collaboration with the business product team in London and Frankfurt, as well as with multiple technology teams around the globe delivering services for Liquidity products.
Skills
- Drive and be responsible for the functional analysis process in the team.
- Work with business product team and solution architect on defining functional and non-functional requirements.
- Closely co-work with development team and QA specialists to integrate requirements in software development life cycle and in QA processes.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for the Liquidity Management teamand for adjacent technology teams.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with business users prior to production go-live.
- Creative mind with the willingness to approach new technologies and standards.
- Mentally agile to cope with a dynamic environment and quick specifications with the diligence to document requests on the fly and deliver results quickly.
- Responsible for working within a team and to help drive standards and quality of the teams deliveries
- Past Experience in requirements definition and requirements management
- Experience in dealing with requirements change process.
- Background in development or quality assurance areas is a plus.
- Background in financial services (and or) experience of payment/financial transaction systems.
- Desirable - Experience of working with XML and relational data models (Oracle).
- Experience of bringing together different types of data from different data sources - Oracle SQL experience desirable.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment - preferably with distributed teams and management.
- Able to communicate to others on a technical as well as non-technical basis.
