Project Description:
- Execute requests (tickets) from the business
- Help maintaining the infrastructure
- Ensure 1nd and 2nd line support for production environments, including on-call
- Ensure delivery of changes to the production, QA and development environments
- Help with troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity management
Qualifications:
- Several years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Network environments
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper and deep knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, MPLS
- Solid understanding of high performance, customer facing Internet applications
- Proven problem solving track record focused on quick outage restore, root cause analysis technologies
- General knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, Java
- Understanding of DNS, NFS, LDAP and other protocols
- Testing and implementation of high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Flexible, strongly adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities
- Ability to adapt a new technical environment if 'thrown in at the deep end
- Fluent in English
- Willing to travel
Required languages: good written and spoken English
