Beschreibung

My client seeks an experienced Level 2 Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience providing Level 2 Support for the technologies contained in the Data Centre and have experience working with Data Centre LAN technologies (Cisco, Nexus, F5 and more).

The main responsibilities will include:

Level 2 support for the technologies contained in the Data Centre
Interface to MSDC and MSEN
Performing operational tasks: defining and implementing technical and/or organizational measures
Ensuring uninterrupted service (infrastructure design, preventive maintenance)
Early detection of fault conditions (monitoring and event management)
Rapid recovery of regular operation after error conditions (error analysis and correction)
Evaluation of change requests in terms of the desired effect and the resultant by the Change Risks
Implementation of non-standard changes and subsequent success control
Technical guidance of Level 1 - support teams and drafting of an on-Knowledge Database (knowledge transfer)
Documentation and Reporting
Development/optimization of the overall solution in close consultation with the customer
Consultation with the customer regarding the implementation of new/changing business needs

Knowledge of German language will be an advantage, but not a necessity.
