My client is based in Dusseldorf, Germany and are an established and high profile pharmaceutical corporation.This role begins on the 6th June, so interviews are going to be conducted as soon as possible.
Your tasks
Design and development of Big Data solutions for customers
Technical responsibility for the preparation and execution of presentations, proofs of concept, piloting and maintenance workshops
Conducting information needs analyses in the specification, planning and budgeting of Big Data solutions with Business Consulting
Technical responsibility for the presentation and sale of solutions
Support the project manager and technical management of project teams
Responsible Assisting in the implementation and integration of big data solutions and applications
Qualifications
University degree of (economic) computer science or equivalent training
At least 5 years experience in Big Data and/or Data Warehouse environment incl. The ability to work in a complex environment
Used for deeper understanding of enterprise architectures, especially in the area of Big Data and Data Warehouse solutions
Very good experience in planning and execution of engineering projects
Good communication and presentation skills, confident appearance profound experience in dealing with customers and employees, as well as with the management of enterprise customers
Negotiation skills, assertiveness and a high degree of motivation, creativity and teamwork
Structured, analytical approach to problem solving
Fluency in English, German fluent in speaking and writing
High personal use and willingness to travel
Desirable experience and qualifications
Experience in the industrial sector Pharma
Knowledge in the field of Hadoop and related tools relational databases
ETL and BI tools
Datamodelling (3NF, Star, Snowflake) and in dealing with modelling tools
