For our client in Indiana, we are searching for a Discipline Subcontracting Manager (f/m)

Duties:
- Establishes and adheres to the quality, budget, and schedules of the project.
- Liaises with Construction, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure cross functional integration in all subcontracting, DS&E, and site procurement activities
- Coordinate and execute allocated subcontract packages in-house and at site
- Coordinate with quantity surveyors to benchmark and measure site progress and reporting
- Participates in the development of bid strategies including Bidder’s List, identifying and resolving as applicable, potential issues with Bidders.
- Pre-qualifies potential bidders and/or sub-contractors for assigned packages according to TK IS standards and procedures. This includes ensuring non-disclosure agreements and Supplier Code of Conduct are in place prior to discussions.
- Convert project requirements into contract documents.
- Review proposals prior to submission to ensure technical compliance
- Develop, negotiate, and modify complex contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm completeness and accuracy of proposed contract
- Evaluate bidders quotes to ensure completeness of offers, including determining inclusions, exclusions, clarifications, and qualifications according to TK IS standards and procedures.
- Utilize negotiation tools and techniques to support world class results.
- Develop and manage subcontracting process for assigned packages.
- Ensure best practices utilized across company and share in the team.
- Establish, track, and manage quantitative performance goals for contracts
- Participates in startup and hand-off meetings
- Reviews plans, specifications, reports, and addenda for issues and actions. Notifies internal stakeholders of discrepancies discovered and monitors or executes actions through completion

Skillsets:
- Market knowledge of, and experience with, contracts in Construction Industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and development of contracts.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Self-confident with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create optimal approaches and solutions.
- Experience working with Cost Reimbursable type contracts, Fixed Price, T&M, and Unit Rate type contracts.
- Solid understanding of the entire construction contracting cycle and ability to structure subcontracts that include all appropriate contract terms.
- Communication skills, and good interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
- Knowledge in claims and commercial management
- Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
- Proficiency with SAP preferred
- The majority of the work will be completed at the TKIS project site where the work is being executed, however frequent travel to office locations may be required.
