Software Team Lead
Start: 01.06.2016
Duration: 3 months + possible extension
Location: Area of Munich
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and planning technical activities of a designated team to fulfil project objectives by following the established processes and methodologies
* Responsible for realization and problem resolution of project objectives in SW development for our products
* Member of the project management team
* Responsible to plan and define work breakdown structures and tasks including resulting work products, and ensures that the plan contributes to the master plan of the Project Team Lead
* Manage risks and coordinates mitigation actions in the area of responsibility
* Monitor activities according to the master plan using defined performance indicators and drive corrective actions
* Report the software development status in the project to the Project Team Lead and to upper levels of management
* Assign the work package/tasks for the team members, contribute to reach technical design decisions and review/approve software related artifacts
* Plan and ensure the allocation and needed equipment for the project(s), and support the project and line management
* Provide input to Line Management, Group Leader, and Project Lead for the budget forecast
* Assist Line Management in hiring of new software engineers (CV reviews, interviews)
* Identify reference process improvement opportunities and provide inputs to the process owner
* Represent in ongoing projects quality related audits (internal or external)
* Interact with other groups (hardware, mechanics) for the project(s)
* Lead the software team in the line organization
Profile:
* At least 5 years of experience in Embedded SW development (Automotive)
* Experience as a team leader working in an international setup
* Experience in project planning
* Very good knowledge in Embedded systems, Embedded software and SW configuration management
* Very good knowledge in planning, designing, and developing safety critical, Real Time systems
* Good knowledge in hardware, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, A-SPICE and SW testing
* Knowledge in UML/SysML
* Fluent German and English language skills; French, Romanian or Swedish a plus
* Leader skills, Team player, Pro-active, Goal oriented
