As a Software Engineer Layouts you are responsible for the design, implementation and quality assurance of technical layout solutions for a variety of disciplines in the medical lab. The areas of your responsibility in internal and external, national and international project settings include* Analysis and documentation of customer requirements and implementation of a wide range of layout solutions like medical reports and bar-code labels.
* Module testing of system components and documentation of test results
* Regular delivery of status reports to (sub-) project management
* Delivery of technical solutions to 2nd level customer support
* Optimization and development of the layout implementation tools and methods in collaboration with the product development
* Educated to degree level in computer sciences or comparable education
* Working experience with IT systems in healthcare environment
* Special knowledge and proven practical use of: XML, XSL Formatting Objects and XSLT, SQL
* Knowledge of printer languages like: PCL, EPL, ZPL and IPL
* Knowledge in Oxygen, BIRT, TextControl is a plus
* Experience in project work
