- support the Feature Owner Security
- configuration and set-up of security functionality delivered by components according to customer requirements
- pre-integration and evaluation of delivered by components
- documentation and review of test results
- support error analysis by reproducing issues or attack scenarios
- reporting of implementation status and test results
- optimize processes and tooling
Skills:
- LINUX knowledge, especially
- Firewalls, Configuration using netfilter/iptables
- Bootsequence using systemd – configuration of startup sequence, analysis of running processes
- Access restrictions within LINUX, users, groups, file/device access rights, etc/passwd, etc/groups
- Ressource Management within LINUX - cgroups
- Related tools - netstat
- Basic awareness for security
- Testing security does not mean to use the existing software as it is – that usually works fine, but:
- it means to “double-check” / “modify” existing code, data, access rights OS configuration, to simulate attacks and check the countermeasures.
- And it means to test by review – correct assignment of access rights, user/groups, processes, …
- Implementation skill (because many features of security are provided on such low level, e.g. SDC, ALD, …)
- Implementing little scripts,
- executables for LINUX to test given APIs
- Knowledge on typical tooling
- Ticketing – JIRA
- Source Control - ClearCase
- experience with
- complex project setup
- automotive OEMs and Tier 1’s
- communication to senior engineers and project managers
- good language skils in English (German would be nice, but is not a must)
- systematic problem solving skils
- Intercultural competencies and experience in international cooperation
