Beschreibung

My client is looking for a German and English speaking Technical Lead for a 3 month rolling contract in Germany.

In the role of Technical Lead, roles and responsibilities would include:

Lead and provide high quality operational and technical application and systems support client and internal business functions.
Owner of the Problem Management process. Minimizing the adverse impact of incidents and problem on business and preventing re-occurrence of incidents
Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems
Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes.
Provide input to application/infrastructure scalability
Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing
Provide 3rd line Application Support on complex internally and externally developed applications
Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the application support function
Design, prepare and conduct training relating to Problem Management and the appropriate usage of the Support Management Service
Provide timely and export advice on emerging trends and issues affecting Service Delivery and Support. Develop strategies to allow Application Support to manage resultant problems
Provide input to administering and maintaining all production and internal environments.
Provide input to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans
Share/spread knowledge with team members as well as internal teams (client services, service desk, development)
Ensure incidents and problems are up-to-date.
Ensure all technical and non-technical documentation is up-to-date

Required Skills

Financial Services and investment banking background with Knowledge on Germany Taxation and German Tax withholding
Experience of working on Tributum
Strong analytical, quantitative & problem solving skills
Experience leading technical support teams and Demonstration of ownership of problems
Proven experience in hands-on application support lead/manager role
Extensive problem solving and debugging skills
Experience in providing services to agreed SLA's and OLA's
Experienced in Problem and Incident Management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short-notice
Experience with supporting Java applications and an understanding of web
Experience in L3 team mainly performing tasks like bug fixes, CRs, code changes, advanced troubleshooting etc.
Experience in Business Continuity and Disaster exercise
Experience in Multiple stake holder coordination for maintenance and support
Experience in Application Inventory Management and compliance tracking
