Operations Manager (IT Security)
My financial client is currently hiring an experienced Operations Manager (IT Security) for a very long term project possibly 3 years. The successful Operations Manager (IT Security) will be working in Germany and enjoy an initial contract offer of 1 year.
Job Description:
The Operations Manager (IT Security) will be in charge of building and managing the operations team for a critical bank application. The Operations Manager (IT Security) role will focus on managing the team and improving the operations processes. Additionally, a technical awareness and expertise in the supported technology will be required.
Experience:
- Be familiar with change management and deployment processes in large IT organizations
- Have experience with UNIX/Linux, Windows
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc. are considered a plus
- Come from a financial services environment or have (and be able to clearly articulate) a directly transferable and relevant industry experience
Skills:
- Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
- Have very good communication skills
- Attention to details
- Have general knowledge about IT Security, especially related to key management and certificates
- Be the sort of person who welcomes responsibility and proactively looks to identify and improve existing processes and practices within the environment
