Beschreibung

Portland Resourcing are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to take the lead on this project, who can work with our international client and their in-house IS Subject Matter Experts. Some familiarity with SAP WM would be very valuable, but it is unlikely that SAP WM on its own will be able to deliver the functionality we need. Once the requirements are fully understood they can be prioritised, and the "to be" application can be specified.

Objectives of the project

  • To identify and document the high level business process requirements of the configuration department within the Supply Chain Services business, as Business Process and Requirements Documents
  • To select an appropriate platform for the new application
  • To design and architect a future state end to end application including its user interface, data and process structures and technical interface requirements with SAP WM
  • To plan a project to develop or implement the solution and to migrate to it.

Project Location

The project will be based in the Cologne area, however regular travel (possibly 50% of the total project elapsed time) to the county of Hertfordshire in the UK will be essential.

The Ideal Candidate

  • German and English language skills (written & spoken to a business level) are a must
  • Experience of application development projects covering strategy, analysis, design and solution architecture on SAP and non-SAP platforms
  • Experience of warehouse and distribution centre processes, especially using SAP WM
  • Experience of distribution value added processes/manufacturing processes in a warehousing context
  • Able to propose innovative application solutions to business problems
  • Ability to be pragmatic, resilient and innovative in problem solving and issue resolution
