System Back-Up & Recovery Expert required. Candidates will need to assist in continuous adjustment of the HW/SW components in the backup environment with regard to the technical need for changes to the central server and storage systems.
Assist in development and maintenance of tools,
Access/administration/management of disk subsystems in the SAN environment, especially EMC²
Software components such as SRDF, TimeFinder
In-depth knowledge
Software components such as SRDF, TimeFinder
Platforms, including Solaris/UNIX/Windows server
Software components, especially Primecluster, Veritales Volume Manager
Experience in Backup tools (for example, Networker, ArcServe), even in high-availability environments
Automatic tape archiving systems
Backup/Recovery (in high-availability environments)
Virtual Tape Libraries
Storage, security and availability concepts
Experience in Scripting and programming languages with any of the following -
* Shell,
* Perl. C
Basic knowledge
(LAN, WAN)
German speaking language as required for this project. Candidates already based in Germany would be a bonus.
