Ihr Aufgabengebiet:* Stakeholder-manage groups of 5-10 managers from across the business, understanding their key issues and needs
* Work with Executives and leaders up to, and including, the Executive Chairman on product ideas and strategies
* Write clear, concise and complete specifications that can be used from design through to testing
* Brief creative problems to in-house and/or agency design teams
* Coordinate an agile sprint backlog for 4-10 engineers
* Ensure completed code passes QA and that new products are well communicated to everyone in the organization
* Maintain a dashboard of key metrics that guides product priorities and drives action in the business
* Test optimizations and enhancements that drive incremental engagement, conversion or revenue
* Be the owner of the 1-year, 1-quarter and sprint-to-sprint product plans to map out an ambitious program of change that can be achieved within the assigned budget
Ihre Qualifikationen:
[b]Skills and Capabilities:[/b]
* Intelligent and numerate educated to college level or higher with a preference for STEM orientated majors
* Excellent stakeholder management able to interact with confidence and credibility at all levels of the organization
* Sound written and spoken communication skills
* Solid analytical abilities both in the obvious tools (Google Analytics, Flurry, Excel etc) and the methodologies of an expert user
* Very organized able to create structure in issues and debates along with plans and actions that actually deliver
* Extremely resilient. Comfortable with all kinds of feedback and strong enough to respond in a balanced and thought-through way
* Creative in a way that breeds simple solutions not complex answers
* Passionate about customers and creating amazing experiences for them
[b]Knowledge and Experience:[/b]
* Previous experience (at least 5 years) in the Product Development lifecycle of a consumer-facing organization is highly desirable, better still if it includes time as a Product Manager
* Experience working in a travel organization and/or a media company will be very useful
* Time spent with solutions that span multiple platforms mobile experience is especially important
* Practical knowledge of operating in an Agile Sprint environment
* Demonstrated success at writing product specifications for Agile projects
* Understanding of key performance indicators, business requirements, and other areas critical to Internet media such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), user interface optimization, and design principles. Media content personalization, search, or other information retrieval application experience is a plus
* Have successful experience in developing and introducing new products, brand and product strategies, marketing strategies and customer value propositions in a highly competitive Internet media arena
[b]Functional Expertise:[/b]
* (Essential) Deep understanding of transactional eCommerce models including search results, sort order, product descriptions, purchase flow and confirmation
* (Essential) Experience of leading/facilitating a cross-functional team across different countries and time-zones
* (Desirable) Knowledge of hotel distribution including GDS, connectors and extranets
* (Desirable) Experience of building and optimizing a hotel booking user experience
