Application Transition Analyst Specalising in Cloud technologies.
- Senior role in assisting application teams with the transition of their applications from an on premise data centre into the new Cloud environment while enforcing increased use of PaaS services and up skilling client internal teams.
- Management of regular meetings with the application owners to drive the complete process from initial technical and financial analytics, through to their application migrations and sign off.
- Work with the Cloud team to improve the robustness and automation options of each application during the application migration.
- Previous experience managing/project managing teams of developers
- Excellent application migration skills
- Understanding of network communications eg basic understanding of port, IP ranges etc.
- Understanding of support process
- Excellent understanding of PaaS services offered by Amazon and how to adjust application architecture
- Excellent understanding of application/cloud automation via CHEF
- Understanding on how to produce and mange run books and representing changes in a change board.
- A good understanding of Microsoft Visio used to produce application communication Matrix
- Produce technical communication Matrix for all in scope applications
