1. Job Description
Expectations on Senior Java Developer :
- 5-7 years experience in Java SE (backend)
- Enthusiasm in Java programming
- Have enough experience to be able to review other programmers code and give feedback on quality
- Decide on solution architecture
- Be prepared for own code to be reviewed and commented by other programmers
- Write automated tests for own code (smoke tests, unit tests, integration tests, e2e tests)
- Setup and keep programming standards and teach/lead less experience programmers to follow quality standards and programming guidelines
- Must have good soft communication skills as required in Scrum methodology
- Be prepared to perform pair programming
Experience with following will be well perceived:
- Agile/Scrum
- Jira/Confluence
- Jenkins
- Gerrit
- Automated testing frameworks (J-Unit, SPOC, Sellenium, TestNG, Fest, Jasmin, Cucumber, Test MORE)
- SonarQube
- GIT, Artifactory
Candidates will be pre-verified with Codility test.
2. Professional working day 8 to 10 hours a day, Usually 8h + lunch break
3. Days to be worked,Mon-Fri, occasionally once per few months there is a need to work up to 8 hours during weekends (to do code deployment to production).
4. No travel, Work in Warsaw
5. Fluent Polish. Very good English in reading and writing. Good English in speaking.
6. Start date ASAP
7. End date of contract initially 6 mths which could be extended.
8. ‘Home Office working ’ maybe allowed max 2 days per week with prior agreement of the Line Mgr
