For a client out oft he financial area, i am currently looking for a „Big Data Lab Support".- Project Goals:
- Buliding up and taking care of daily agile Business. Severel Lab-environments have to
- be set up with VMware 6 (Dell-Hardware), NetApp- Storage in RedHat Linux 6.x and Hortonworks Hadoop. Implementation of your IT Infrastructur KnowHow in Infrastructur/Applications-Design for best Business practise. Keep Daily Business running in the Lab-environment ( High Availability 95%).
- Daily Business and Enhancement of an productive SAS Environment (rinning since 1.3.2016) connecting to the SAP-HANA Infrastructur regarding to a similar technical Infrastructure (Dell-Hardware), NetApp- Storage with RedHat Linux 6.x and Hortonworks Hadoop.
Tasks:
- Design of the Infrastructur Labs on Basis of IT-Business-Requirements.
- Checking Vendors regarding Hard- and Software Setup..
- Installation and Configuration of Hard- and Software:
- VMWare ESX-Hosts
- Network(Cisco)/Server (Fujitsu/Dell)/Storage (NetApp)
- Redhat Linux Server (1. Focus)
- RHCE
- Server Deployment- and Management Tools like
- Openstack; Chef (2. Focus), RedHat Satellite Server
- Hortonworks Hadoop (3. Focus), SAS
- Shell Scripts:(Bash, Ruby, Phyton)
- 3rd Level Troubleshooting, Performance Management
- Reporting
- Documentation (Design/Config/Workflow)
