Job Title: Technical Writer

Role Responsibilities
- Writes, edits, proofs, and formats hard copy and online documents for consistency. Examples: reference documents for software products, code, user interface tests, white papers, online help systems, and training manuals
- Ensures all deliverables are technically and mechanically accurate
- Collaborates with department team members, development, sales, marketing, services and others to develop content for standard documentation sets, software, and special initiatives in-line with the development cycle
- Creates and manages document schedules, content management, and information architecture.
- Defines processes for content modification, content sensitivity, and content accessibility
- Maintains content, tools, application access, account administration, and workflow administration.
- More experienced writers may train team members as needed on tools, applications, reporting, and content workflow needs
Required Skills
- Master's degree in English or Technical Writing or Bachelor's degree in English or Technical Writing with 2+ years of related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of technical writing concepts
- Proficiency in use of Word, Paint and Photoshop
- English native/fluent language skills ("must-have")
- Self - motivated and able to complete assignments in a timely fashion and with minimum supervision
Preferences
- Knowledge of Source Control Explorer, Jira and Confluence
