Your tasks
- Direct interface between Development and IT Operations
- Responsibility for the architecture, monitoring and implementation of the deployment of technologies and operating the cloud platform (AWS) in support of the DEV & production systems/infrastructure
- Knowledge of the following AWS products: VPC, S3, Glacier, Cloudwatch, cloud formation, EC2, IAM
- Support/optimization of EC2 instances and web services (Nginx, Jetty, Redis, MySQL)
- Realization of robust, automated infrastructure solutions that are based on Continuous Delivery pipeline staging environments and automated deployment in operational IT (Puppet, ansible)
- Performance analysis/optimization of the overall system (we operate a SOA). Monitoring and profiling of SOA cloud components (dependencies, communication, and log messages between services)
- Contact for the coordination of planning and installing system components and possibly troubleshooting This should bring you
Your experience
- Several years of professional experience working with cloud-based architectures: public cloud (AWS), as well as private clouds
- Very good knowledge and know-how with optimization & scaling of Web services
- At least 3 years of professional experience with Web services on Linux based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS) and virtualization systems (KVM, Xen), focusing on scaling and maintainability Ideally you will have experience in one or more of the following areas: IT operations, public cloud (AWS), Private Cloud (KVM, CEPH), Continuous Integration, IP Networks or databases
