My client are building a social media analysis tool should be extended by predictive algorithms. At the moment the tool offers plain aggregations of multiple channels and keyword filtering. In this project the tool should be extended by trend detection (virality). The projects starts with the channel twitter, whereby preaggregation and crawling is already done. The aim is to finish with an algorithm suitable for all channels in the near future.
Skills required:
* Python 2.x (REST APIs, scikit.learn, numpy)
* InMemory-DB (SQL and MapReduce patterns on those machines, likely Exasol as DB)
* applied mathematics (stochastics, bayesian reasoning)
* knowledge of AMQP and RabbitMQ messaging bus beneficial but no show stopper
* Linux CLI knowledge for implementing the Python worker into supervisor
