Software Developer (Java, HTML, JavaScript, Smart Homes)
I have an excellent position available for an experienced Software Developer to join a reputable and exciting software house in Darmstadt, Germany.
My client is a leading provider of software solutions for the Telecommunication and Finance industries, specialising in the field of machine to machine communication. Their enduring success results from fantastic long term relationships with companies such as Deutche Telekom and Commerzbank.
This position specifically is based within the Telecommunications industry and my client require a freelancer to join their project ASAP.
Specifications of the role:
- Development and documentation of software for application and device integration
- Support of partner developers in the creation of bindings
- Review of applications from partners and developers with development tools for process automation
- Support the international SW community and advise other developers of the software as a member of an agile team
- Development and technical support of the developer community portal including onboarding processes, forums, SDK download and source code examples.
Successful candidates should have:
- Three to five years of professional experience and interest in the development of modern Internet services and technologies for the networked home
- Solid knowledge of the current technologies Java, HTML5, JavaScript
- Ideally skills with OSGi, Embedded environments, Eclipse SmartHome but these are not essential
The project is long-term and the successful candidate is expected to be have their contract renewed for up to 18 months upon good performance. The organisation engage in a dynamic working atmosphere, encourage regular staff events and even provide free food and drink for all employees.
Technical training courses are offered in addition to an excellent remuneration package ranging anywhere from €55-€70/hour depending upon experience. This is a freelancing position.
