We are currently recruiting for our client, a Global Telecommunications Organisation for Radio & Transmission Maintenance Engineer to join their project in Uganda.Position Title Radio & Transmission Maintenance Engineer

Radio & Transmission Maintenance Engineers job will be to ensure availability and quality of the Radio & Tx network guided by well-established proactive and reactive processes and procedures, as well as providing first line support for Radio & Tx nodes in the network operations including escalations to the Senior Engineers.
Responsibilities:
Perform network maintenance routines on a day to day basis
To monitor network nodes for timely fault resolution
To execute work orders as assigned
To develop and execute new procedures as guided and supervised by the Senior Engineer or Manager
To perform first line BTS/NodeB/eNodeB&Transmission issue location and troubleshooting
To communicates any fault events in line with the departmental and companywide escalations procedure
To perform regular site cleanup, proper labeling and ensure general room cleanliness
Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Telecommunications engineering
1+ year of experience in a reputable telecommunications company as a wireless Engineer
A valid driving permit
Pay close attention to detail, have excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, a team player, ability to deliver
Under stress with minimal supervision, and must be innovative
