Data Engineer - Freelance - 12 Months - €700 p/d

They are very highly respected and are ranked as a top 10 company to work for in Germany. They are looking for a Machine Learning Data Engineer who has experience creating containerized applications using Docker. The Data Engineer will also need to have a strong understanding of Machine learning and Data Science algorithms. They are looking for a candidate with a data engineering or Software Engineering background who is passionate about developing their machine learning skills.
Role:
*Develop and implement machine learning models using prototypes & proof-of concepts
*Optimization, development and implementation of data science and machine learning solutions within data pipelines (eg Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes)
*Use of service oriented architecture, container applications and functions, especially in cloud
*Optimization of machine learning models with performance computing & Real Time techniques
Skills:
*Experienced with code performance optimization and scalability
*Understanding of cloud computing tools (egAzure)
*Worked with scalable machine learning frameworks and data science tools
*Working knowledge of big data environments
*previous experience working with Docker and ideally Kubernetes
*Masters or PHD in area with computational element, eg Physics, Data Science, Computer Science
*Worked with machine learning prototyping to scalable implementations a bonus
*English Speaker needed
*3+ years of experience
