Senior SAP Sox Manager
Whitehall resources is currently looking for a senior SAP Sox manager for our client in Berlin, Germany
Role description:
- vp/controller. Get the Controls Backlog under control, Support Month end activity to enable close and set up clearance of all open items
- Support management of accounting team, credit, cash application, vat, in place, VP coordinator and liaison with US, most junior resources are new,
- Familiar with DBM German standards/GAAP
- Ensure compliance to SOX
- Support hand over to the new incumbent (candidate from Controller in October/Nov)
- Catch up on controls missed since July - complete vacuum at present and hence will be a backlog.
- Navigate new SAP review and control and execute the control
- Must be fluent in German
- Prepare for SOX Auditors return in October.
