Test Manager with Test Automation expertise (m/f), Germany, Frankfurt area
Our client in the Frankfurt area is currently searching for an experienced Test Manager with Test Automation expertise (m/f).
Responsibilities:

Support scrum teams in test automation within an agile environment
-
Start with user stories and requirements in single teams and end at fully automated E2E testing over the whole program elements
-
Support product owners and scrum masters in building efficient test strategies, as well as developers in developing the right level of automation
-
Coordinate different work streams (both agile and waterfall) on fully integrated testing and consistent test data
Requirements:
-
Academic education in computer science or a comparable qualification and several years of experience in the context of agile software development projects
-
Conception of acceptance tests in formal languages (Gherkin, Cucumber)
-
Coaching our agile teams in direction of Test Driven Development
-
Supporting our Product Owners in Agile Requirements Engineering
-
Managing test coverage over multiple teams and align with our E2E testing team(s)
Practical experience in the following areas and tools is required:
-
Agile Requirements Engineering
-
Extreme Programming
-
ATDD and BDD
-
Functional and non-functional testing
-
UI automation, API testing (SOAP and Rest)
-
Test data management
-
Hands-on data analysis, support of data migrations
-
Expert usage of common tools in an agile project like Jira and Confluence
-
ISTQB or similar certification
-
Since micro-services are used in a Hadoop or Kafka environment, knowledge of ("complex") event stream processing and event-based integration is very helpful.

Also practical knowledge of continuous integration, deployment monitoring and related tools, especially Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible, Tosca and Selenium, would be a benefit

Ideally, you were able to successfully apply these skills in the financial services sector.

Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking and team working

As this is an international project, a fluency in English is essential. Nevertheless, knowledge of German is an advantage.
