For our customer in Hesse we are looking for a Senior Tax and Accounting Specialist (m/f).
Project tasks:
- Consultation in relation to HGB Statutory Financial Statements and annual reporting for various German entities
- Consultation for VAT, wage tax and corporate tax compliance, calculation and returns
- Advice regarding preparation of regulatory reports and returns
- Consultation regarding reconciliation of balance sheets
- Coaching junior team members and offshore teams
- Solving queries and issues with the outsourced provider
- Reporting and problem solving for the wider business
- Consultation regarding wage tax processes
Skills required:
- Fully-qualified experienced accounting specialist or tax consultant
- In depth knowledge in production of financial statements and notes for a significant entity
- Experience with operational accounting in a large financial services or asset management organisation
- Detailed knowledge of German taxes (VAT, wage, corporate) and HGB accounting
- Excellent knowledge of SAP FI and capable of coaching within SAP
- Experience with the VERA tool is an andvantage
- Experience with offshore shared service centre or outsourced enviroment
- Fluent in English and German
