SAP ABAP Technical Manager
Location: Saalfeld, Germany
Duration: 6 months Contract + Possible Extension
Languages: Fluent German & English (Speak-Read-Write)
For our client, a well known global technology company, we are looking for JDE project managers to start immediately.
Role
- Being the singular point of contact for the offshore team and the client
- Generate goodwill by showcasing your skill sets in ABAP and facilitating interactions with the offshore team in India and the resources at other locations.
- Being the bridge between the offshore team, IT & user community.
- Handle customer service
- Address challenges and manage user expectations
- Working on highly complex tasks for the deployment of new solutions and enhancements
- Handle trouble-shooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, Root-Cause Analysis, user interaction, training, defining systems scope, gathering requirements, documenting design & technical specifications, research and fact-finding, code development, testing, reporting, cutover, and business user coordination
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology
- 7-10 years of experience in design, development and testing of new ABAP programs/maintain existing programs, enhancements, applying ABAP coding within SAP ERP
- Experience of Full-life cycle SAP Implementations
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience working in an SAP Application Support, Development/Maintenance environment resolving SAP ABAP issues for global clients.
- Familiarity working in a FDA regulated environment
- Experience in designing custom solutions within the ECC landscape as well as solutions involving complex integration with external systems and/or business partners
- Ability to effectively prioritize and plan activities for self and team, work on multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
