IT Outsourcing Service Transition Manager (Extensive travel across Germany)

Our client a leading European IT Service Provider are looking for a German Speaking Service Transition Manager with technology outsourcing experience.
The role will involve extensive travel to Germany (3-4 days a week) and the Service Transition Manager will be heavily involved in the on boarding of new and existing client services. Ideally you will have experience around Due Diligence, Streamlining processes and successfully transitioning a service into BAU. You will be required to maintain regular communications with all relevant stakeholders, chair daily conference calls in the lead up to go live and deliver a complete handover to BAU within an agreeable timeline.

- Risks Streamline process and implement best practices to ensure fit within standard Sch model
- Ensure operational manuals are complete in ES standard format and loaded to appropriate learning page (Sharepoint)
- Any special instructions/guidance notes are provided to systems
- Ensure all systems are fully tested with relevant team and ready to use
- Engage TLs/Ops Managers regarding volumetric and recruitment
- Owner of Project Plan with clear timelines inc risk management log
- Ensure appropriate testing/training has been complete before go live, through liaising with training manager
- Successful transition into BAU Maintenance
- Regular communication with all relevant stakeholders on dates
- Chair daily conference calls in the lead up to go live
- Complete handover to BAU at agreeable time (follow BTO to BAU Handover doc)
Skills Required:
- BTO or Transition knowledge
- Ability to travel across UK and Europe
- Strong communicator with good process design skills
- Ability to negotiate and be strong in discussions
