Big Data Engineer urgently required for a contract opportunity in Munich.
The role requires someone capable of coming in and hitting the ground running. You will be responsible for defining and designing the data pipelines between systems and clusters. Then going on to implement the agreed architecture.
You will have experience of Hortonworks data management platform, Kafka, Hive, Pig. Dealing with data injection.
If you have strong Java Piping experience with Kafka you could be considered for this role.
Whilst the initial contract duration is for 3 months this is highly likely to extend. This is also to work for a consulting company so the people that demonstrate the right attitude and approach can be considered for other opportunities within the clients portfolio of clients. Whilst German speaking candidates are inevitably desirable, the client will accept and hire people that are fluent English speaking.
