My Client is currently in the market for a Big Data Architect with Apache Accumulo, Apache HBase and Hadoop experience.
Key requirements:
-2+ years with Big Data as an enterprise architect
-Should have been responsible for implementation of full life cycle of a Hadoop solution, including requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development, testing, and deployment
-Implementation experience on at least 2+ Big Data projects
-Must possess good client facing experience with the ability to facilitate requirements sessions and lead teams and present analysis in business terms
-Must have led/managed/executed analytics driven project through the complete life cycle of the project
Certification in any Hadoop distribution
The Role:
-Design and build scalable infrastructure and platform to collect, process and analyze very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured), including streaming Real Time data
-Work closely across an array of various teams and organisations in the company and industry
-Exhibit Strong technical team leadership, mentor-ship and collaboration
Provide technical support to all team members during project execution
Technical Skills:
-Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages such as Java, Python
-Experience in any search engine platform such as Solr is desirable
-Experience in Agile development methodology
-Architecture Design, Datamodelling and advanced SQL experience
-Should have in depth knowledge on Cloudera Big data distribution
-Hands-on experience with Design and development on Hadoop stack including Hive, Impala, Spark, MapReduce, Oozie, Sqoop
