Our client is a highly successful and already established startup business that manages wireless Inflight Entertainment (IFE) systems, which enables customers to access entertainment, shopping and destination services through their own devices.
They are about to hire a larger team of software specialists to develop their next product evolution and take the business to the next level.
As an experienced IT Product Owner (m/f) with e-commerce and Ads Technology experience you will be driving the product development with a view on operational tasks, features and workflows for the e-Commerce and advertisement side of their product.
Your responsibilities in more detail:
Responsible for the specification of requirements for the operational systems used by the company and support product evolution as well as various customer requirements.
Engage and collaborate with development teams to ensure sufficient elaboration and understanding of business requirements exists.
Accountable that software delivered meets business expectations.
Responsible for negotiating and agreeing the specification of operational system requirements with other stakeholders within the company.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining a clear technical baseline for operational software development, working with other members of the technical team.
Work alongside with the Head of Development to report status and deliver the project according to plan.
Supervise and coach junior members of the team.
Provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks and deliver these tasks to plan.
Required skills to perform this role:
Degree in Software Engineering or similar
Experience with e-commerce servers, ads servers and operational experience in software development
Several years experience working as a product owner, product analyst or project manager with a proven track record of delivering business focused solutions in a fast paced environment
Confident communicator, with both technical and non-technical people
Experience working in an agile environment, closely with developers
System architecture
Motivated, self-managing, strong analysis, problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
