For our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a SAP Release Manager.Location and Time lines:
– based at least 4 days a week on-site
– basically start asap – high level expectation is October min. 50% availability
– As of November pretty much full time (min. 4 days/week) for rest of the year (till Christmas), additional few transition days in January
Tasks and Objectives:
– Conceptual set-up and operational preparation/support of monthly Release Committees (including release KPI reporting and lessons learnt/follow up from release implementations
– Support implementation of agreed improvement items for Release Management throughout the organization (roles & responsibilities fine tuning and training, coaching of internal colleagues)
– Work together with internal responsible for Release Management on future set-up needs, especially for Regression Test concepts and prepare/support transition
– Responsibility for Release Package coordination and implementation in one dedicated SAP landscape and hand-over to new-joining internal responsible in Jan`17
Experience / Skills:
– 5+ years Experience as SAP-ERP Project Manager in bigger projects incl. stakeholder management or:
– Several years hands-on experience as Release Manager for functional change deployment in larger SAP environments
– Sound SAP integration know-how across different functions / modules; fundamental knowledge of business process design and system architecture
– Good understanding of CSV standards and system change management (ideally with SAP solution manager)
– Analytical and conceptual thinking towards organizational processes and methodology
– Strong in presentation, documentation and communication in English (ideally German language skills as well)
– Experience / Know how about Novartis ERP landscape e.g. PEP, SHAPE, ...
