Our client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to run two network security projects in parallel:Network Access Control (NAC) Rollout and Hydra Access Terminal Hardening.
The project NAC has already been initiated and project manager is required now. Its goal is to improve the user access security to internal network. A first pilot is envisioned for April 2016, based on the newly developed concept. The rollout is high level planned to be conducted in waves with critical areas to be implemented by June 2016 and all other locations by the end of September 2016. The IT Project Manager is expected to manage and run the overall rollout process.
The project Hydra Access Terminal Hardening will implement various software and system updates to the access card control system of DBG in order to remedy specific IT security vulnerabilities. In addition operations process modifications are required, which have to be implemented by the project.
The IT Project Manager is expected to manage and run the entire project with by December 2016.
The project manager is expected to be based in Eschborn. Occasionally, travelling to Luxembourg and Pragues will be required.
The Project Manager is fully responsible for the management of the end to end project delivery. In particular this includes:
Leading and controlling IT stages of the project lifecycle from initiation, design, delivery and test to post implementation, adhering to known project methodologies and best practices.
Full responsibility to delivery from design and specification to testing and implementation within time, scope, quality and budget.
Management of scope from project initiation to the project closing.
Effective management of project and business risks.
Correct budget and cost management or the project.
Coordination with the local teams in Eschborn, Luxembourg and Pragues
Qualifications:
Project management methods must be known and must have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA).
Must know network Infrastructure technology
Good understanding of IT security concepts
Knowledge of Network Access Control Concepts (Cisco Low Impact Mode)
Knowledge of 802.1x based Client authentication
Extensive experience with IT Project management and controlling
Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in a team
Good experience with Microsoft Project
Experience with complex project structures and solution oriented project delivery.
Project languages are German and English. Thus, written and spoken German and English are required.
