We are currently looking for aMoët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot KaDeWe – Concession Project Manager m/w/d (Freelance)
POSITION
Moët Hennessy has unveiled a plan of significant transformation and growth in Retail with the ambition to open 50 new retail boutiques globally, 11 of which will be in Europe.
Your key focus areas will be the opening of a permanent Veuve Clicquot Bar and Retail Space and the Moet & Chandon Bar on 120m² both at KaDeWe, Berlin. You will be the Project Manger to realize both Openings, working in close collaboration with Moet Hennessy Germany Teams, the Maison and the KaDeWe store.
THE ROLE
• The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the project. The PM should make sure risk is controlled and uncertainty minimized.
• The Project Manager works closely with the Maison and Country teams (marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, IT) to ensure the correct development, control, and responsibility of all STREAMS of the project: Business, Architecture, BOH
• As well as managing contributors' expertise around those aspects, the PM has also to handle costs, scheduling and quality throughout the project.
PROFILE
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & KNOW HOW
• Deep Experience in opening Gastronomy (and/or Retail) Concessions in Germany preferably in a Department Store Environment
• Expert knowledge on German specificities to open Gastronomy (legal, operational etc.)
(Both are mandatory. Applications without recognizable experience will not be considered.)
• Deep project background with more than 5 years programme and project management
• Experience in working in a global environment for a global brand
• Leadership skills
• Ability to establish trust relationships at all levels in the business.
• High level of negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands on mentality
• Risk management
LANGUAGES
• German and English perfectly written and spoken
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
SET THE FRAME
• To bring project management methodology into the project and problem resolution
• To assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• To transform the main objectives into operational ones
• To develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress with deliverables, deadlines, and responsibilities
• To set the project team and ensure resource availability and allocation
MONITOR THE PROJECT
• To control, follow the progress and report to Steering Committee
• To consolidate all streams dashboards to maintain comprehensive project documentation
• To ensure that all deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• To manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• To create and to manage the relationships, coordinate and [mobiliser] the project team
• To ensure a good communication between the project team
