Projektdauer: 6 Monate + Option auf Verlängerung
Projektauslastung: 4-5 Tage/Woche
Projektort: Remote (70%) /Vor Ort (30%) Bergisches Land
Background:
As part of an S4 digitization project, an SAP process template was created over the last 2.5 years. In particular, the management of master data for material and business partners has been redefined and set up in terms of standards or best practice approaches. This change in master data management needs to be rolled out to the different organizations (countries) and local gaps reported by the different end-to-end streams need to be closed. For this reason we are looking for a dedicated Master Data Rollout Manager.
What the candidate should bring:
- Several years of experience in management and the challenges of international rollout projects.
- Experience in master data projects in the manufacturing industry especially for the master data domains: material, business partner, customer, supplier
- Experience with SAP MDG processes in a multi-system landscape and the capabilities of MDG technology.
- Experience leading large-scale projects to organize and bring together multiple parties and stakeholders, ideally with a background in master data and data migration
- Excellent soft skills to communicate with different people and mindsets, with the ability to explain complex solutions in a simple and understandable way.
- SAP R3 and S4 skills, especially at a high level in processes such as purchasing, supply chain management, production and sales.
- Languages: English fluent in spoken and written (mandatory) / German (optional).
- Experience with third party systems such as Salesforce, Ariba, Windchill or other solutions is an advantage.
Project Scope & Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Creation of a rollout concept and rollout plan integrated in the overall planning for the master data management solution (MD-Hub) with focus on material master and business partner.
- Creation, coordination as well as transparent presentation of MD Hub rollout-, cutover- and handover activities to various audiences.
- Reporting (status, risks, planning) to project- and rollout management and stakeholders
- Identification of technical and functional impact of changes in a parallel system environment (SAP/R3, SAP S/4, Master Data Hub scenario, SAP Business Objects Data Services)
- Organize upcoming rollout activities, prepare, orchestrate training and support
- Lead and conduct workshops with business (data stewards) and IT
- Managing and tracking all requirements and handing them off to the appropriate teams in IT and business
- Support all end-2-end rollout teams in clarifying open template requirements and capturing and validating all requirements for the master data solution
