Scientific Communication Manager (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- The service is requested as part of defined scientific communication and media projects in connection with our open innovation portal
- The purpose of the project is to independently coordinate, and steer defined external (and potentially internal) digital communication activities for specific projects and to organize a public online seminar with external and internal scientific speakers
- The contractor will be in charge to define, coordinate and implement specific (scientific) coordinate digital communication with external and internal scientific partners on various digital communication channels to achieve sufficient awareness and engagement for defined activities.
Main qualifications
- Master’s degree in communications, journalism or related field. Alternatively, PhD in life sciences or related field
- Proven professional track record in effectively communicating complex life science-related topics to target groups and the general public ideally in context of pharma R&D
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to navigate in rapidly changing and complex environment
- Profound knowledge and experience with modern communication methods and channels such as digital and social media
- Fluent written and spoken English, basic German language skills helpful
