The client is a international acting company in the field of power supply. The products are known for their outstanding quality standards and customized solutions based on the customer requirements. The nuclear customers expect secure power systems and smart solutions.To drive the further development of the department, the team is looking for an:
Qualifications Expert - Electrical Engineer Nuclear (m/w/d)
Main tasks:
- Solution Support: Throughout the project execution phase, you are responsible for keeping engineering milestones, reviewing, and validating customer specifications, and working out special requirements in close liaison with the Project Manager.
- Solution Design: You ensure the development of technical UPS solutions for large and complex projects, based on customer needs, quality, and cost efficiency. UPS configuration will be done in close collaboration with assigned Application Design Engineers.
- Customer Management: You are the main point of contact for all technical aspects to the customer for the duration of the project until project closure. This includes Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and technical clarification with third party suppliers.
- Nuclear Subject Matter Expert: You ensure that the design processes and customer specifications are in accordance with the relevant nuclear specific standards and customer requirements (e.g. Class 1E and / or NQA-1). You organize, execute, and review all qualification activities with third parties (laboratories, etc.), including the preparation of the specific documentation and the qualification tests.
Requirements:
- You hold an electrical engineering degree with several years of experience in the electrical industry.
- You are familiar with industry qualification standards and processes, ideally nuclear related like Class 1E and / or NQA-1. Other experiences in regulated environments, with strict product qualification standards, such as aerospace, defense, transportation, etc. would be considered as well.
- You have experience in application engineering of engineered to order (ETO), complex electrical engineering solutions, ideally related with power supply or power management. Previous experience with UPS systems would be an advantage.
- Your way of working is shaped by a strong customer focus.
- You can handle multiple projects at the same time and work in cross-cultural teams.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken), as it will be your working language
The position as Qualifications Expert - Electrical Engineer Nuclear (f/m/d) covers two aspects: having the technical expertise and being an expert in the nuclear industry. You are the first point of contact for technical questions raised by the customer or the Design Application Engineering team.
