JOB DESCRIPTION –
• You will be part of strategic opportunities with Infrastructure and Cloud Business Unit.
• Responsible for supporting the translation of the client's complex business requirements into formal agreements establishing specific solutions, applications or processes ultimately culminating in customer acceptance of the results.
• Working with client personnel and executives to identify business requirements and, subsequently, working with, and leading others in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing of the client's solution.
• Responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.
• Understanding disciplines and processes as they relate to organization and the client's strategic objectives, functions, business unit and/or country objectives
• Guides other professionals (Project Leads, Specialists and Consultants)
• Leads negotiations with team members to define team goals and approaches for attaining them; Draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties
• Utilizes refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or containing both technical and business risk
• Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving Sales, scheduling, technology, solutioning practice, tools and solution components with the assistance of the functional and technical teams.
• Leads and guides the efforts of others in understanding and reaching project decisions. Position may require coordination of activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members; Influences people and organizations to include those of the clients and organization executives on issues related to project management.
• Leads project management/business initiatives in new and complex areas.
• Accountable for results of large, complex projects.
• Cross functional engagements, international projects and dispersed teams may be involved; directly with customer's executive management
• Activities are directly related to customer satisfaction and drive.
• Must have strong knowledge of Infrastructure Services, Data Centers and Cloud
Responsibilities
• activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives.
• Identify needed members for project team.
• Record document concisely and clearly all project plan.
• Identify prime risks and limitations within project plan.
• Evaluate and determine plan variance from project performance.
• Define all goals and project delivery clearly.
• Oversee precise project results to identify if relevant quality standards area attained.
• Collect and present performance information related to infrastructure projects.
• Identify prospective conformance and rigid concerns associated with project initiatives.
• Identify probable impact to associates, clients and shareholders.
• Perform with subject matter experts all through organization to gather entire business needs required to attain project goals.
• Conduct change throughout project inclusive of schedule, scope and team membership.
• Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates across entire business units along with management levels.
• Identify prime cause of contention or disagreement plus recommend corrections as necessary.
• Ensure to capture, prioritize and solve project problems in organized manner.
• Define/Adhere to proposed RACI to ensure optimized delivery
Skills - Essential
As an architect you should have:
• PMP & Scrum Agile
• ITIL
• 12+ years of total experience, 5+ years in infrastructure related projects with last 3+ years of experience on cloud migration & operation project
• Working knowledge of technical infrastructures and network systems
• Experience with at least one named project management methodology (Waterfall, Agile)
• Awareness of Microsoft and VMWare server technologies
• Experience & Handled Public cloud project Such as migrations & Managed services support
• Strong team Management skills
• Full system life cycle perspective and experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Desire and ability to learn
• Ability to lead and manage a team
Skills - Desirable
The following skills and qualifications are also desirable:
• Any Cloud & Devops Certification
• Exposure to hybrid & multi cloud
