Purpose of the role
Reporting hierarchically to Connected Channel Sprint Captain, you will be responsible for the delivery of business system solutions and processes that are based on blockchain technology as implemented under the Plant-to-Patient Connected Channel program. This digital innovation program is designing, developing and implementing blockchain based solutions across all business units in the company at a global level. The program is actively seeking partnerships with stakeholders in our business, both internal and external, to develop and implement pharma industry standard solutions.

You will be responsible for implementing, ensuring and improving delivery practices, team cooperation and its development while ensuring end goal alignment. Cooperate with multiple internal/external stakeholders’ competency in order to maximize the project value. Partner with Project Area Lead, process steward, market Product Owner and market stakeholders in order to understand their challenges, analyze possibilities as well as design and deliver the solutions.


Key Responsibilities

• Supports the team Agile ceremonies and any other process the team has agreed on.
• Facilitates the team’s progress toward team goals – The Agile Delivery Manager is trained as a team facilitator and is continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
• Leads team efforts in relentless improvement – Helps the team improve and take responsibility for their actions; facilitates the team retrospective. Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for themselves.
• Facilitates meetings – Facilitates team meetings, including (where applicable) the Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective.
• Supports the Product Owner or Project Lead – The Agile Delivery Manager helps the Product Owner or Project Lead in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
• Eliminates impediments – Many blocking issues will be beyond the team’s authority or may require support from other teams. The Agile Delivery Manager supports the team in addressing and eliminating these issues to improve the likelihood of achieving the objectives of the Iteration.
• Coordinates with other teams – The Agile Delivery Manager supports the team’s efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other teams internal and external to the company.
• Enables organizational effectiveness – The Agile Delivery Manager works with other Delivery Manager and stakeholders to help the team contribute towards improving the overall development of the Value Stream.
• Coach team members and others, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques for their environment

Your profile:

You are a highly motivated self-starter and curiosity is what drives you. You embrace and value lean and agile principles to achieve positive outcomes and love to work in a team with a common sense and a good communicator that gets to the point quickly.

1. Open mind and willingness to lean
2. Deep knowledge of Agile Project Management and Delivery methodology, preferably certified
3. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management
4. 5+ Years of demonstrated experience in the one or more of the following fields: Product Management, Project Management, Product Delivery in the life sciences / pharmaceutical industry
5. Preferably knowledge and experience in developing and implementing blockchain technology-based business solutions
6. Strong skills in project management, continuous improvement, process mapping, and business process documentation.
7. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Candidate must be highly motivated and able to communicate effectively across global boundaries and with a variety of functional areas and levels in the organization.
9. Strong oral and written English communication skills with a proven ability to organize complex information in a concise and compelling manner.
