For our life-science client based in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a:Pension Funds Consultant
who will consult and advise insured persons on their insurance situation and manage efficiently the administration of their data .
Major Accountabilities:
- Consult and advise the insured persons on Pension Fund and on general Swiss social insurances.
- Manage the general administration of Pension Fund insured persons
- Manage new entrances and establishing offers for purchase of missing years for those new-insured and give them advises
- Manage the leavings and the transfer of their transferability
- Administration of retirement cases, of disability cases and cases of death
- Relation with HR associates, with authorities and with other Pension Funds
- Represent Pension Fund to associates and HR management at information events and workshops
Training and/or professional experience:
- Commercial training qualification (e.g. commercial apprenticeship or commercial college) or equivalent (e.g. other apprenticeship; has very good administrative skills / experience) or possibly university entrance qualification (Matura)
- Further training I the field of social insurance (proficiency certificate or diploma in social insurance, professional school for administration)
- Several years' experience in the field of occupational benefit schemes (specialist)
- Experience dealing with insured members and their concerns (social skills)
- Sound knowledge of the law and ordinances
- Languages: Good written and spoken knowledge of English and German, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
