I am looking for a core Wintel Server Administrator to support, diagnose and administer Windows Server across a vast EMEA enterprise estate.You will have expertise at a support level of the following:
At least 5+ years of experience supporting windows platform
Experience supporting Windows Servers in a large enterprise environment for the past 3 years
Server builds, configuring chassis, installing firmware:
Building ESX Cluster environment with instructions, standalone server builds
Work with 3rd party suppliers
Working knowledge of TSM Backup/Anti-Virus/Tivoli monitoring technologies
Experience working with HP server hardware
Windows Clustering
VMWare knowledge
An understanding of SQL
considerable experience in building Servers, monitoring queues
Solid knowledge of at least three of the following - Monitoring Clustering, Active Directory, Citrix, VMWare
A good understanding of the demands of building Servers under tight SLA's
A positive, 'can-do' attitude, excellent customer-facing skills, and a high productivity rate
Interpretive & persuasive written & verbal communication skills
