I am working with a global technology client who operate world-leading marketplaces. Summary
Role: VueJS Full-Stack Developer
Engagement: Self-employed / Freelancer / B2B contract
Project length: Contract to end of April 2024 + rolling extensions
Start date: Immediate or 1st week of February 2024
Work location: 100% remote work offered.
Interview: 1 stage (30 min tech discussion followed by coding exercise)

Role:
Working with a geographically distributed team of 6 engineers, your work will be focused on delivering new features and products to a market-leading real estate platform. There are a number of business initiatives which have MVPs scheduled for delivery by end of April. The primary focus is to build a search page and platform for external real estate agencies which increases their visibility. Additional deliverables will include modifications and UX improvements to the existing search pages. You may also be involved on their company-wide harmonisation project which is unifying all of their marketplaces onto a singular tech stack.
Tech Stack /key skills :
• VueJS (currently using Vue2 with Vue3 in pipeline)
• Strong experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
Nice to have :
• Familiarity with AWS services (such as Lambda, Aurora, SQS, SNS, S3)
• Some experience with infra as code (AWS CDK)
• AWS Serverless
• Beneficial: Datadog, Sentry, Backstage documentation
VueJS, TypeScript and NodeJS are the key technologies across this team. If you specialise in 2/3 of these, you can be considered although strong experience with VueJS projects in mandatory.
Current team: 1 Product Manager, 1 UX Designer, 1 Engineering Manager, 6 Full Stack Engineers.
