Transmission PlannerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Transmission Planner to join their business in the Germany.

Responsibilities:
- Planning of connectivity for radio base stations to controllers via IP and PDH services through a transport network within a network modernization and consolidation project. The main task is the planning of transmission routes and their parameters with the planning tool „x:acta“.
- Execute planning activities in line with priorities set by other teams in the project.
- Interface to the integration and configuration teams: Assure the completeness, correctness, timeliness and feasibility of planned activities based on the result of the parameter planning. If needed, check remedy actions with participating project teams.
- Compare planning data with network status in cooperation with OMC or NMC teams (if necessary)
- Usage of all relevant tools and database within the network planning activity
- Support the improvement of processes and optimization of information flows within the project.
- Actively share and distribute knowledge within the project teams
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience within planning of transport and access networks for radio network operators including network inventory management. The relevant technologies are micro wave, optical networks, IP-RAN and DCN
- Experience in the planning of the following technologies:
-- Microwave systems from Ericsson, SIAE, Huawai and Siemens
-- RSTP–Solutions on basis of Huawai OSN products
-- Metro Ethernet (e.g.. Tellabs 8600, Huawai CX600)
-- Optical networks, multi-vendor
-- DCN-Solutions in RAN transport networks
- Experienced user of x:akta , APT, NetSite and UTS, RackDesign
- Experienced user of MS Visio
- Has a knowledge sharing culture
- Result-oriented, detailed and structured way of working
- Highly developed team and communications skills
- Good English skills, German is a strong advantage
