Projektbeschreibung/Aufgaben/Rolle:

Background situation:
- A process has started that will run until about 2030. L-Gas (natural gas with a lower caloric value) is more or less running out and will consequently be replaced by H-Gas (both qualities are being sold today – very much depending on the region of the customer).
- This change in delivery has started already and is managed by the grid operators – for the costumer this means that for contracts that are concluded and are under delivery, we have to change the respective system entries in all affected IT-systems (from Pegasus Gas, Endur GO, SAP IS-U) and possibly trigger certain market communication processes.
- A process to handle this is more or less defined but it is highly manual and very work intensive, so that a technical solution to process the relevant contract and deal changes in the IT- and process landscape should be defined and implemented.
Task Description are:
- Describe the issue and how/where it touches the process and underlying IT systems across the costumers Sales business (Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office functions and relevant IT functions)
- Drive the quantification (relevant data to be provided by business experts) of the problem to support/validate the business case that has been defined so far
- Describe solution options along the processes and underlying IT in a concept paper that can be uses to base potential IT-concepts on
- Moderate/facilitate experts in workshops to elicit the requirements for a possible solution (as the know-how on the system entry changes lies in the different Uniper departments)
- Drill into the relevant IT systems sufficiently enough to describe solution options (or at least to consolidate the feedback from the respective business and IT experts)
- a potential candidate should be familiar with the German Gas Wholesale Business and the corresponding Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office functions and Processes.
- A deeper knowledge of the costumers business units and departments is beneficial.
