Test Manager – Communication Management (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
Berlin | 18-Month Contract | 60% Home Office
We are currently supporting a leading technology company in Berlin with the recruitment of an experienced Test Manager – Communication Management (m/f/d) for an 18-month contract.
The role sits within a safety-critical, highly regulated engineering environment, working on communication management systems and collaborating closely with software development, QA, project management and certification teams.
- Lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of software testing throughout the full development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test concepts, test plans, test cases and test reports
- Ensure requirements-based testing and full traceability between requirements, test cases and test results
- Coordinate testing activities across development, QA, project management and certification stakeholders
- Support compliance with change management and configuration management processes
- Ensure a structured and quality-focused approach to testing within a regulated environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a comparable discipline
- Several years of experience in software test management within safety-critical environments
- Strong knowledge of DO-178C, ideally with experience around DAL-D
- Good understanding of aviation-specific documentation and quality requirements
- Hands-on experience with Jama, Jira, Xray and Pytest
- Strong knowledge of the Linux Network Stack and Layer 3 routing protocols
- Understanding of common network security functions and architectures
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Excellent German and English, both written and spoken
- 18-month contract AÜG
- Berlin-based position
- 60% home office
- 40 hours per week
- Competitive salary of €68,000–€102,000 gross per year, depending on experience
