Test Engineer - MaTE Test System, ADA, Software Integration, Aerospace/Avionics
A new long term contract opportunity has arisen with a globally successful Defence and Aerospace organisation based near Münich Germany.
The successful candidate will be working in the Engineering Test Department for an initial 12 month contract and will need fluent language skills in German and English.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Integrate L2 and L3 requirements into Test Procedures for Flight Control Systems
Execute Test Procedures at the Rigs
Evaluation of results and analysis of plots
Release Test results reports after test completion
Perform Technical Checks and Reviews
Perform Software Code Analysis
Support the creation of Documentation for Test Campaigns (Test Procedures, Test Reports, Query
Notes)
Create, maintain, and validate internal macros and tools in the test area.
Qualifications and Skills required:
Electrical Engineering Minimum Bachelor's degree
or
Computer Science Bachelor's degree
or
Engineering Bachelor's degree
Relevant engineering experience
Aerospace background
IT/information systems
Experience of working with MaTE Test system, version controlled items and ADA knowledge
Experience in hardware/software integration and system testing
MS Office
Experience of working with the MaTE test system (tool for avionic system test support) would be an advantage
ADA, FORTRAN and Java programming languages - desirable
