For our customer in Neu-Isenburg we are currently looking for a Test Automation Expert. The project is described as follows:Framed by an organisational transformation programme existing IT platforms will be replaced by modern industry standard systems, this initiative is due to begin in October 2017.
As part of the transformation programme the work-stream System Integration & Data has to deliver a Hadoop based Enterprise Data Lake incl. a complex, custom developed data ingestion pipeline as well as a business activity monitoring framework on top of an event store fed by the central publish/subscribe based message bus. For continuously delivering shippable product increments in the scrum teams we request setting up test automation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality test automation in a Scrum Team
- Plan, design and execute tests across multiple systems (Hadoop)
- Create, maintain, monitor and run automated test cases, functional tests as well as E2E tests with focus on API- and Webservice Connectivity Testing and complex workflow scenarios.
- Providing clear and constructive feedback and creating opportunities for learning and growth
- Conduct end-to-end data migration testing against functional criteria in agile and waterfall
environments in both manual and automated scenarios.
- Set-up concept for test data extraction/generation and test automation
- Prepare xUnit and Selenium based test framework for utilization in agile development teams;
Embed test automation tool chain into our build and deployment pipeline
Requirements:
- Software development and testing
ISTQB Test Foundation desirable
Certified Agile Tester Certification desirable
ITIL Foundation desirable
- Experience with financial industry
Personal:
- Experience in working in international teams, preferably in an English-speaking environment
- Fluent English (CEFR level B2 or better); fluent German is an advantage
- Very good communication skills and proved teamwork ability
- Experience of Business/Scenario based validations
- Experience of testing systems from existing and functional specifications
- CV must be in English
