For our costumer, we are looking for an Architect (m/w/d) with Test Automation experience for the further Development of a Test Automation Tool (written in Java, based on Selenium). The individuum should be available full time.Location: mainly remote, onsite: max 4 weeks/year (Dortmund)

Responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain a scalable and reusable test automation framework to
support a variety of applications and technologies.
• Provide consulting services to development teams, offering expertise on test
automation best practices, methodologies, and Agile principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, test automation
engineers and product owners, to understand testing requirements and integrate
automated tests seamlessly into the development pipeline.
• Write and review efficient, maintainable, and modular automation scripts using
languages Java & Kotlin.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients on test
automation concepts, the framework and strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated testing
processes, the framework, and best practices.
• Work closely with test automation engineers to understand their testing
requirements, provide guidance and deliver tailored solutions to meet their specific
needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Test Automation Architect or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e .g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong scripting or programming skills inJava or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e. g., Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI).
- Experience with version control systems (e. g., GitLab).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, Agile principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferably consulting experience with the ability to provide strategic guidance to teams.
- Ability to deliver training sessions and workshops.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Test Automation Engineer
