Technical Support Analyst (m/f)

The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the operations of the production and pre-production application environments. This includes monitoring and maintaining applications running in environments and monitoring and supporting the processing of customer data on these platforms within the service level agreements.

This is a technical position that interfaces extensively with internal and external clients.

The Technical Support Analyst is also responsible for development and management of detailed technical documentation (in English) describing process flows, application architecture and system design.

Key Accountabilities:

• Application Administration: Technical support for application installation, maintenance, monitoring, release deployments, and performance management
• Coordinate directly with customers regarding technical troubleshooting and resolutions
• Provides level 3 application and environment support for assigned products and level 2 support transaction issues
• Investigates potential solutions to Application and Data errors using technical troubleshooting skills
• Participates in maintenance, operations acceptance testing, performance testing, and / or release activities

Qualification Profile:

• University degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a supporting EAI or transactional systems in a SAAS or internal service environment within the Supply Chain Management area
• Deep knowledge of EDI (X12, EANCOM) and XML and transaction mapping principles.
• Experience with SAP, Webmethods, MSSQLServer, IIS, Apache, Tomcat a plus.
• Experience with EDI-INT AS2, HTTP(s), FTP(s) protocols
• Knowledge of network concepts and troubleshooting network traffic
• Ability to interact with team members in multiple cultures and time zones, including experience working in both German and American cultures
• Fluent English both written and spoken
