Tech Services DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) in RemoteFor my Client in the financial sector I am looking for DevOps Engineers who can start asap.
For this position it is mandatory that the consultant is employed, either in a consultancy or you are willing to get employed by Sthree.
The platform is a diverse product consisting of several technologies. This characteristic is reflected in the cross functional team of individuals who have a deep understanding of their technical specialty and at the same time can work outside of their comfort zone.

- Place of work: Remote (München if possible)
- Workload: fulltime (Option for extension)
Tasks:
- Configuration and support of applications and services related to data engineering and data science deployed in both private and public clouds
- Support and interact with data scientists and data engineers within the Client
- Accomplish improvement in performance, reliability, and automation levels.
- Resolve incidents and change requests
- Write technical documentation and apply best practices
- Deliver new services for the Platform
Description:
- Advanced knowledge in either Kubernetes or Hashicorp Nomad
- Advanced experience with Docker containers
- Kafka and Spark (administration and recovery in existing deployments; programming internals)
- Development of CI/CD pipelines for Gitlab / Jenkins
- Strong knowledge in developing shell scripts (Bash or other POSIX shell)
- Familiarity with Python language (deploy packages; build and distribute python environments), preferably in the context of data science
- General understanding of Networking and IT Security Principles
- Elasticsearch (maintenance and operation of existing deployments, preferably within an orchestrator such as Kubernetes or Nomad)
- Knowledge of the internals in data science tools such as Jupyter notebooks, R-Studio and Zeppelin notebooks
- Tools such as Airflow, Luigi and MLFlow
- Solid knowledge in GIT version control system
- Advanced Linux knowledge
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, German language is a plus
