Für unseren Kunden im Schienenfahrzeugbereich suchen wir einen erfahrenen Systems Assurance (RAMS) Specialist (m/w):

project description:

- Act as the System Safety Program responsible for Systems Projects through being
the primary point of contact for safety activities and issues and leading the
discussion of system safety activities with the project team, Engineering, with the
custome
- Interface with the Certification Manager to deliver the safety documentation to be
reviewed by the Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) and the Safety Authority (TAB)
for the complete Safety Certification / Homologation of the system;
- Provide functional guidance on preparation of inspection and test plans;
- Interpret safety requirements of customer contract and notify affected areas of any
changes
- Ensure that all of the necessary safety analyses are conducted according to
requirements and schedules; and perform detailed safety analyses and hazard
analyses using techniques such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analyses)
and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis);
- Manage and track all hazards and safety requirements in a Database (MS-Access
or similar);
- Support the safety efforts of the project by coordinating efforts among the various
engineering disciplines and contractors for System safety.
RAM activities (Optional, for a support role):
- Reliability: Calculate equipment failure rates using data from various sources and
develop Reliability Block Diagrams with this information. Work with Engineering to
agree upon failure rate targets for sub-systems.
- Availability: Develop availability models to support projects and proposed designs
based on the Reliability Block Diagrams. Provide targets for vendor supplied
equipment to Engineering, and incorporate into RAMS requirements for vendors.
- Maintainability: Develop Maintainability Analyses and perform other required
maintainability tasks.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil).
- Minimum 5 years expertise within Railway Industry and with Unattended Automatic
Transport System. Wider experience will be a plus.
- Knowledge (or capacity for rapid learning) of BOStrab and CENELEC Standards
(EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129).
- Expertise interfacing with regulatory/rail authority organisations in Germany
(providing guidance and support).
- Expertise interfacing with Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) in Germany
- German language fluency and a high proficient communication in German and in English (written and spoken).
